The annual National Stress Awareness Day takes place this Wednesday, offering an opportunity for us to address causes of stress in our work and personal lives. Organised by ISMA, the International Stress Management Association, the event this year focuses on the workplace, encouraging employers to discuss stress prevention at work and address causes.  Other charities are supporting this as well, for example Mind is providing free resources to emergency services to help them treat mental health problems as seriously as physical health problems. Find out more about how you or your employer can be involved at the links above.  If you are dealing with stress, anxiety or other mental health issues, there are resources available in our Mental Health information section, as well as in our blog.
